In 1988, Golden Eagle Extrusions pioneered the automation of beverage bottle packaging, with our patented "Ultrabagger". Our dairy and water customers were able to reduce labor costs substantially and eliminate chipboard inserts in bottle bags. The widespread replacement of corrugated containers with polyethylene bags dramatically changed the blown bottle industry.

Composition
The high slip interior and low slip exterior of Golden Eagle's coextruded bags ideally suits this application. The bottles slide easily into the bag, and the finished packages stack neatly and stay put during transportation. Another desirable quality of this film is a 40% increase in strength over conventional corrugated containers.

Innovation
The recent implementation of packaging equipment with bag making capabilities, utilizes rollstock consisting of the high slip/low slip formulation. This development offers an additional savings to bottle manufacturers.
