Custom Coextruded Films & Bags

The custom coextruded films and bags we provide at Golden Eagle Extrusions, Inc. offer our customers an innovative solution to their food, food container, beverage, medical, and industrial packaging needs. Golden Eagle is proud to offer monolayer as well as coextruded films, which are available in 3, 5, 7 and 9-layer configurations. Coextruded films give the customer the flexibility to specify certain characteristics or attributes they want in a film. We then work with them to choose the best resin blends to meet those qualities.

Examples may include specific OTR’s and MVTR’s, aroma barriers, flavor barriers, clarity levels, anti-fog additives, heat resistance, different seal strengths, to name a few. Our custom coextrusions can also be blended with specialty additives, such as color tints, slip agents, anti-stats, anti-blocks and UV Inhibitors, amongst many others.

Our films are available in thicknesses ranging from 4 – 12 mils and can be supplied on 3” or 6”cores. We can produce films up to 88” in width to accommodate a range of machinery options. Our coextruded bags can be manufactured in many different configurations and types. Our products are made using tight tolerances, which ensure an extremely consistent product that offers great machinability.

With access to numerous resin and additive options, as well as a first class technical team, we can engineer a custom film that will outperform the competition. We can provide a certificate of analysis along with audit certifications, and can turnaround most orders in 2 – 4 weeks.
