At Golden Eagle Extrusions, Inc., we offer numerous toll services including lamination, slitting/rewinding, as well as corona treatment of multiple materials. All processes are computer controlled, performed at speeds of up to 1,300 feet per minute, and held to tolerances as tight as ±/1 mm. All flexible packaging substrates, as well as foil and paper can be laminated, slit or treated at our facilities and can be wound onto 3” or 6” cores. Our slitter/rewinders are capable of processing up to 65” wide rolls with a 40” OD that weigh up to 1,500 lbs. We are capable of laminating and treating rolls up to 59.5” wide with a 40” OD and weights of up to 2,200 lbs. We can handle single or multiple passes on our lamination line, creating up to a 3 or 4 layer film structure. Corona treatment can be applied to materials with low surface energy to increase bond strength. All laminations are produced in a modified clean room environment.
Our production team is very experienced, possessing a combined 75 years’ experience in the flexible packaging production environment. Certificates of Analysis and HACCP documentation are provided for regulatory compliance and customer records. Our on-site lab is capable of performing seal strength, bond strength, COF and mil thickness testing to verify conformance to all customer specifications.
